Emerald City, The Peak, Colours Of Emerald City, Fifth On The Park, The Park Club

Elad Canada has coined this pre-construction project as a “Master Plan” community, a feat to be added to a highly successful portfolio of commercial and residential spaces. With residential holdings across Ontario and Quebec, Elad has since pursued an aggressive growth strategy in acquiring income producing properties, eventually leading to their largest envisioned development project to date. Known as Emerald City Condominiums, this three-block redevelopment is uniting within the Parkway Forest neighbourhood in Toronto. Emerald City is planned to include 2,200 condominium units in six designated towers. At Sheppard Avenue and Don Mills Road, the planned first phase of three condo buildings is stated to include “Colours of Emerald City”, which thereafter is followed by “Fifth of the Park”, and “The Park Club”, moving forth towards the final phase, “The Peak Condos”.

1. It’s simple to access – no matter how you commute.

Known as the “Garden City” in the 1960’s, this lively area sits right by the intersection of two major arteries of the city, Highway 401, Highway 404/Don Valley Parkway, granting a solid point towards the decision to invest. An excellent transit score and a walk score of 80/100 are additional benefits for pedestrians and TTC commuters.

2. Emerald City condos come in all shapes and sizes.

Having undergone a huge push to further urbanize and bring development to the area, new towers ranging 25 to 36 storeys and townhouses will be available, with various unit sizes and ownership models available from rental to condominium living.

3. The amenities are more than just fancy pools and spinning rooms.

Amenities will include a new community centre, daycare and community offices. WZMH Architects, visionaries behind the development, have been the recipient of a Toronto Urban Design Award, and only are the buildings notably well-planned; residents will find the landscaped pedestrian paths and multiple courtyards to be grand highlights. The neighbouring Parkway Forest Park is perfectly placed, providing a natural refuge for the outdoorsy.

4. It’s a worthwhile investment.

The Master Plan has been recognized for investor interest, including the knowledge that prices are estimated to rise as the area continues to rapidly flourish. With approximately a 12-minute drive, students and professionals looking to rent a space to attend the University of Toronto Scarborough campus will be an excellent focus.

Also known as the Fairview Mall community, referring to the renowned mall of big brand retailers, designer shops, restaurants, cinemas and a library only a short distance away, residents also have the Parkway Forest community centre and North York General Hospital conveniently placed nearby.

5. It has what most condo residences lack – a strong sense of community.

A community focus is the tie that binds for the approximately 8,000 residents who plan to call the area home, and starting from the high $200s, Emerald City speaks for itself upon first

impression. Atop one of North York’s highest elevations, residents look to find great charm within this brilliantly evolving community. Undeniably in a desirable location and a great investment opportunity, Emerald City ensures everything you could ask for will be at your doorstep – convenience, accessibility and excitement!
